I also raced at Donington for the last round of the British Supersport Championship and secured pole position, had the fastest lap and won by over 7 seconds. This surprised me, and made me realise just how much I had learned in my two years at World Thunderbike. Finished 5th in Championship.

1997-1998
Team Kawasaki UK Rode with the Kawasaki UK Superbike team, competing in the British Championship. Won a race at Knockhill and finished on the podium several times. These two years taught me a lot about set-up and racing at the highest domestic level. Also competed in World Endurance with Kawasaki France, finished 2nd at Spa Francorchamps.

1999-2000-2001
Kawasaki Racing Team World Supersport Moved to the full Kawasaki factory team to compete in the World Supersport Championship. Won three races, took three pole positions, several podiums and lap records. Finished second in the championship in 1999.
